Spider, the ancient bringer of messages
She came forth to share language in the written form
Scripts, alphabets, symbols and writings of all shapes and patterns
Her intricate web directs the messages far and wide
Spreading the knowledge to all who take notice
From humble beginnings came greatness.
Spider – The Messenger
I have only just seen the article written in the Avon Valley Advocate newspaper about the unveiling of great-great uncle Hugo Vivian Hope Throssell’s statue in Northam.
It was Anzac Day 2015, Saturday 25th April and my brother Rohan, his wife Laure and their two sons Mikael and Aston and I travelled to Northam an hour’s drive from Perth before the dawn. After the service we all shared breakfast courtesy of the RSL (Returned Serviceman’s League) and went to the unveiling ceremony following a walk down by the Avon river.
Here is a photograph of Hugo in uniform.
To view a photo of the statue and read the article about the Anzac Day and the unveiling ceremony please go to the newspaper website http://www.avonadvocate.com.au/story/3044435/northam-remembers/ .
I Once Met a Tree – Ancient Moreton Bay Fig Tree
Oh beautiful Moreton Bay fig tree, abstract roots forever searching and spreading like your canopy which reaches the clear blue sky of a Perth winter’s day.
I met you on this beautiful crisp, cool day standing majestically in King’s Park, guarding ever so lovingly. Your strength and your sheer size drew me to you. Your handsomeness and ugliness at the same time captivated me.
I felt the roughness of your bark hiding a gentle and loving soul beneath, protected from life around you.
I shared in your breath and your grounding energies, your silent intensity helped to centre and balance my soul.
Thank you for your timeless beauty and your solidarity. I was so glad I met you.
Well, it is going to be a huge day getting everything ready for the annual Wesak Festival – Celebration of the Buddha – tomorrow. Traditionally the spiritual observance of this day is on the Taurean full moon usually occurring in May, however we were guided to hold it on a Monday long weekend public/bank holiday (It is ‘Western Australia Day’) which is the offical United Nations Wesak Day.
It has become quite apparent as to why we were to bring forth the combined divine energies of the Buddha and the Christ now in concert with the wisdom and love of the Ascended Masters and the world and cosmic hierarchies. The land and people of Nepal have had a very challenging month and the whole area is in desperate need of re-balancing, calming and unconditional love to help heal and renew.
This trauma will be affecting the sacred Wesak Valley in Tibet where the ceremony is conducted on the Etheric plane. All who can raise their consciousness can attend in their spiritual bodies through meditation and take part in receiving the blessings of the Buddha and love from the Christ to assist with their personal spiritual development for the coming 12 months.
We also make the day a non-religious sharing of love, compassion and consideration for the Earth Mother and all her inhabitant, plants, animals and minerals included. Many healing sessions including sound, prayer, mantras and guided visualisations are conducted to bring about self-healing for all attendees, distant healing for all those written on the healing hearts, and world service work.
Maybe you would like to join us in a moment of meditation or contemplation sometime during the day Monday 1 June – 10am WST Australia which is 8 hours ahead of UTC time.
love and blessings to all.
A bleak, overcast day in Perth, sees the sun shrouded behind grey. There is a sense of calmness after the storm has passed and a silence has descended.
The reading today is using The Crystal Ally Cards by Naisha Ahsian. The energy of the crystals resonates with my connection to the earth and I have been using minerals and crystals in healing and communicating with their individual and group consciousness for more than 15 years.
CHAROITE – the stone for the Path of Service – The Crystal Ally Cards by Naisha Ahsian
It still astounds me what you can learn from these beautiful inhabitants of the earth if you are willing to tune in and listen in an abstract sort of a way. They are simple souls and use a type of communication which is part telepathy, part sensory, part inner knowing.
The card chosen is the Path of Service – CHAROITE. A divine purple in colour with the occasional smidge of black and white, I feel this stone reminds us that there is always more than one side to a story. My side, your side and the truth! Following our path of service may not always run smoothly as we face the battle of the ego, competitiveness, rejection, condemnation and personal insecurities. But through continuing to assist others (when they ask for it) and learning to give unconditionally, expecting nothing in return, working on our own self-critical nature and allowing love and light to become a constant in out life, brilliant progress can be made.
The Path of Service reminds us that we are all one and by helping others we are helping ourselves and ultimately giving back the Universe and reconnecting with our Divine Self.
They say charity starts at home but should not stay there, so love yourself fully so that you can spread your Light to others in your family and community.
Wishing you the opportunity today to show others that you have a caring and sharing nature.
